Orange but Green

They wrote songs for cine films like Bang Boom Bang and The Wave. They played as supporting act for Bad Religion, Scorpions, Simple Plan and many more. They rocked festivals with crowds lined up to the horizon. They were booked for huge events by adidas, Telekom and Co.

With many hundred gigs in Germany and abroad, Orange but Green have acquired a standing as real live band. Highlight of their career was certainly the long-desired record contract in 2008 and a professional environment in the media metropolis Hamburg.  All chic and  hip. However, the big strike was missing and the band soon realized that Hamburg may be chic and hip, but OBG stands for the Ruhr Area. Back home they cut some dead wood and took a break to start their families.

Four years later they are back on stage with their new songs. Not to aim high, but to entertain friends of intense guitar sport.

Since 1999 Orange but Green has been playing as a trio with the instrumentation Oliver Walter (guitar, vocal), Kai Bünseler (drums) and Jörn Tebbel (bass). Their latest album was produced by Uwe Sabirowsky (Beatsteaks, Thumb, amongst others).
